WATCH: KL Rahul and Jimmy Neesham involved in an argument during 3rd ODI

KL Rahul has been India’s most prolific batsman in the ongoing tour of New Zealand and continued his dream run in the 3rd ODI.

The wicket-keeper batsman recorded yet another hundred at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Tuesday. Rahul scored 112, his first batting at No. 5 in ODIs.

KL Rahul and Kiwi all-rounder Jimmy Neesham had a bit of argument during the Indian innings. Neesham came in Rahul’s way with later taking a single, and it trigged the incident. There was no heated exchange of words but the Indian batsman looked unhappy over it. After a conversation, both decided not to escalate the matter further and smiled back at each other.

Kings XI Punjab connection

KL Rahul and Neesham will be playing for the same side, Kings XI Punjab, in the forthcoming IPL 2020. KL Rahul has been named the captain by the franchise.
