The 16-year old fast bowling sensation from Pakistan who made the headlines for his rapid pace has now converted his potential into performance on the field. He has taken a hat trick in the ongoing test match series against Bangladesh in the iconic Rawalpindi stadium.

The Peshawar born Naseem Shah is the latest fast bowler who entered into the elite list of bowlers who have taken hat-trick. The major achievement of Naseem Shah is that he is only 16-years old and became the youngest bowler to take a hat-trick in Test cricket

Infusing fear into the opposition camp

The tearaway quick from Pakistan who made his debut in the international cricket last year in Australia has been the talk of the cricketing world since then. His rapid pace and hit the deck bowling style has been impressive and been giving tough time to the batters. Nasim Shah who was initially in Pakistan’s U19 world cup squad was withdrawn by the PCB in the eleventh hour to directly include him in the senior team, which shows the amount of faith the Pakistan management have in him.

Bangladesh feeling the absence of their two stalwarts

Bangladesh who have improved leaps and bounds in the international arena has been going through a lean patch of late. Though they have become a formidable team in their own backyard, their struggle to win overseas remains a bigger concern. They have agreed to tour to Pakistan for a 2 match test series which is scheduled in a very awkward manner.

The 1st test which is undergoing Currently in Rawalpindi will be followed by the 2nd test in April. Their veteran wicket-keeper batsman in Mushfiqur Rahim didn’t tour to Pakistan citing the security reasons. They are already without the services of the world’s best all-rounder in Shakib Al Hasan. The Tigers are finding it difficult to put up a fight against the quality Pakistan side and are on the verge of a humiliating defeat in the 1st test.
