Team India’s heart-touching gesture that inspired Hong Kong cricketers

The minnows Hong Kong made India sweat in the Asia Cup and although Team India won the match, Hong Kong received a lot of appreciation for their valiant fight. It seems that Team India too is impressed by the fight shown by Hong Kong as Rohit and Co. visited Hong Kong’s dressing room after the match and interacted with the players.

Indian players offered advice to Hong Kong cricketers and also shared a few light moments with them. The Hong Kong cricketers were excited to meet the Indian cricketers and clicked a lot of pictures as well.

Team India offers tips to Hong Kong cricketers

Along with clicking pictures the Indian cricketers spent time giving some tips to the Hong Kong cricketers.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was seen speaking with the Hong Kong bowlers. He demonstrated how to swing the ball in the air and other aspects of bowling. Bhuvneshwar said they shared their experience with the Hong Kong cricketers and encouraged them . He also said that he loved speaking with them and he wished to see them in future.

Dinesh Karthik too had a chat with his counterparts and he also shared his experiences with them. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni were also present during this time.

Waited for ten years for this moment: Ehsan Khan

Pace bowler Ehsan Khan who grabbed two wickets earlier in the match against India was happy to meet the Indian cricketers.

He said that he waited for ten years to meet his hero MS Dhoni.

In the match, Hong Kong responded strongly to India’s score of 284 runs and at one phase looked set to shock India. However the middle order failed to soak in the pressure and the opening stand of 174 runs went in vain.

Hong Kong lost the game by a narrow margin and are also knocked out of the tournament.

This sweet gesture by Team India was appreciated by fans as well on Twitter.
