Azhar Ali

An uncanny run out of Azhar Ali initiated by the Australian wicketkeeper Tim Paine made Twitterati’s go insane.
Pakistan and Australia are playing the second Test of the series in which Pakistan are at commanding position but Azhar’s comic run out will leave you rolling on the floor laughing.

“Azhar Ali at his Best!”- Twitterati mock the bizarre run-out

In Peter Siddle’s over, Azhar edged the ball to the gully where the ball stopped just before the boundary line and Mitchell Starc collected the ball, threw it to the wicket-keeper.
Assured of a boundary, Ali decided to have a discussion with the non-striking partner Asad Shafique in the middle of the pitch, but it was all turned out to be a part of the dumbest run-out ever.
Tim without wasting any time took the ball and immediately dismissed the striking batsman Ali.
It was a bitter pill for Azhar to get dismissed in a strange way.

Although the unusual run out didn’t hamper Pakistani side much as they are still dominating the match but it gave Twitterati’s more stuff to laugh at.

One can’t afford to miss the Twitter reactions:

“Here is an innovative way to get run out.”

The reactions are priceless, some said it is the most stupid thing happened in cricket.

Pakistan cricket at their very best.

Azhar Ali raised the bar of excellence.

Some quoted it as the most stupid run-out in the history of cricket.

Only Pakistani player to get out in this way.

Please, peps this December only.

Such a way to cheer up the damp squib.

Apart from Azhar, Haris Sohail was also dismissed in the first session (but this time in the usual way) by Nathon Lyon. Regardless of the two early dismissals, Pakistan took the lead of 300 runs over the guests.

It is the third day of the decider Test.
Apart from the Test series, Australia and Pakistan will lock horns in a three-match T20 series which will be hosted by Abu Dhabi and Dubai on October 24, October 26 and October 28.
