The extras in cricket that are something which can be controlled and is one of the very few controllable things in the cricket. Out of all the extras, overstepping is a crime that shouldn’t be committed by the bowler by any means.

For a bowler the most painful moment is to bowl a no-ball by overstepping the bowling crease, the most heartbreaking moment is when a wicket falls on a no-ball.

If anything, Wahab Riaz is one bowler who knows how it feels to take a wicket of a no-ball as he has become a regular customer of the incident. The worst part of such dismissals is that the bowler cannot blame anyone but himself.

Rattles the stumps but the batsman survives

The Pakistan super league is progressing at a rapid pace and there is less breathing space for the teams as the matches are coming thick and fast. There are some interesting events that are happening throughout the league day by day and here is one incident which is worth looking at.

The Pakistan’s limited overs premium opener Fakhar Zaman when on 13, was bowled by a ripper of a delivery from Wahab Riaz but the umpire called it a no-ball which turned out to be a lucky escape for the batsman.

In the end Peshawar Zalmi won the game by 16 runs as Lahore Qalandars failed to chase 133 runs in 12 overs even after getting a gun start from Chris Lynn and Fakhar Zaman.

Wahab Riaz continues to give respite for batsman

In the recently concluded mzansi super league, the tearaway quick bowled an unplayable toe-crusher to Roelof van der Merve for which the batsman had no clue whatsoever as he was down and out with 2 stumps uprooted, but it turned out to be a no-ball which was one of the bizzare moments for Wahab Riaz in that tournament.
