Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Shane Watson has credited CSK skipper MS Dhoni for his return to form in the Indian Premier League this season.
Chennai Super Kings is all set to lock horns with the table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Wankhede Stadium on May 22 and Watson is hopeful of continuing his form in the ongoing tournament.
Watson has amassed 438 runs and has taken six scalps from 13 matches in his 13 outings.
“I am very lucky to have an opportunity to play for CSK. I have been able to open the batting throughout the tournament and bowl my certain overs whenever MS needed me,” Watson said.
“I am in awe of Dhoni, I feel delighted to see how his mind works and how incredibly he reads the game. To be able to ask such questions has also been great so far,” he said.
“It's really exceptional the way he understands what a batsman is going to do or what a bowler should do,” he added.
