The much anticipated final of the T20 world cup is here. The two teams that has made the world cup final are one time champions. They both also qualified for the semi final of previous year’s World Cup. Both these teams have reached this stage after having played some extraordinary cricket throughout this world cup. They have had their fare shares failure and the way they have comeback strongly is something that inspires everyone.

The final is set to take place in the iconic Melbourne cricket ground. It is one of the largest stadiums in world cricket with largest capacity. There is a rain scare for this game just like all the games in the MCG in this year’s world cup. It will be a shame if the game is washed out or if the overs are reduced in the final. Both these teams deserve a full 40 over game to showcase their skills.

If there is no result on 13th of November, there is a reserve day for the final on 14th of November. The sad part is rain is predicted on the reserve day as well. The trophy will have to be shared by both the teams if there isn’t a result in both the days.

Pakistan won the T20 world cup in 2009 in England whereas England defeated Australia in the finals of 2010 T20 world cup in Caribbean to win their first ever ICC tournament. Both these teams have played a lot of T20Is between themselves in the last 2 years or so and knows the strengths and weaknesses of each other.
