During an Instagram Live chat, Yuzvendra Chahal was asked to name who is the better batsman between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. This is the question for all ages. Sports pundits, journalist and fans can't get around this conundrum but Indian spinner gave a hilarious reply.
“Yuzi Chahal,” said the 29-year-old when asked to name who is the better batsman between the two.
But when pressed further to give a more clear answer, Chahal said that both are different and unique in their own way.
”If you ask me, as an opener Rohit Sharma is the best, and at no-3, no batsman is better than Virat Kohli at the moment. Similarly, Chahal is the best to bat at no-10,” Chahal added.
Chahal also named Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul as the most fashionable players in the Indian Cricket team.
All the cricketing activities have come to a standstill due to the COViD-19 pandemic. The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been postponed for an indefinite period, while the upcoming T-20 World Cup, set to be scheduled in Australia in October and November this year, is also facing uncertainty.
From posting messages on social awareness to the funny and entertaining videos, cricketers are spending more time on social media these days. Chahal is certainly among the busiest, he is keeping his fans well and truly entertained.
During the chat, Chahal was asked where he would go if he becomes invisible and the 29-year-old said he would go to Ranchi to meet MS Dhoni.
“Right now, I will go to Ranchi to see Mahi Bhai,” Chahal answered. Dhoni is the least active cricketer on Social media. The host of the show asked Yuzi if he can bring Dhoni to the Instagram live with him.
And Chahal replied, “I will have to go when the flights are resumed. I will keep my Instagram open for 24 hours and then see how does he run away.”
Recently, Chahal posted a throwback picture with former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and captioned it, “May 3 Miss being called tilli from behind the stumps by the legend”
