‘I am going to have a beer tonight,’ Ravi Shastri can’t wait

Former India cricketer and current Indian coach Ravi Shastri is waiting to have a beer as soon as the liquor shops are open. In a conversation with India Today, Indian coach Ravi Shastri has said that he would not be wasting any time in getting a beer. He also added that he would be following all the social distancing norms.

What did Ravi Shastri say?

The coach of the Indian cricket team has said that he is waiting for the liquor shops to open and cannot wait to have a beer. At the same time, he also added that he would make sure to follow every social distancing norm as well. Ravi Shastri also chose former legspinner Lakshman Sivaramakrishnan and former all-rounder Roger Binny to hang around with as his drinking partners.

Said Sashtri. When he was asked about his teammates from the Indian team of 1985 and with whom he would like to hang around, Sashtri replied –

With the lockdown now, I’m past the red zone and am currently in the orange zone in Alibaug. I’m going to get a beer tonight, am sure there will be some shop open. And if I had to get 2 guys to get a beer with me I’m sure Roger would have joined me and so would Siva.
