Born in Indore, Rajat Patidar represents Madhya Pradesh in the domestic circuit. He opens the inning with the bat and was given an opportunity by Virat Kohli to bat at no-3 in RCB playing 11 against MI in the first IPL 2021 match.

The 27-year-old made his List A debut for Madhya Pradesh in 2015 and was selected for the domestic T20 league in 2018 by his state team as well.
