Delhi Capitals Playing XI: After a smashing performance in their last three games, the Delhi Capitals (DC) are ready to face the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their sixth match of the IPL 2021 season at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad later today. The Rishabh Pant-led DC team registered brilliant successive wins over Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings in their last 3 games and now they have arrived in Ahmedabad for their next four league matches. However, Delhi Capitals have suffered a huge blow as their premier spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has withdrawn from the remainder of IPL 2021 season due to Covid-19 pandemic situation in his family.

Delhi Capitals have a lot of options in their squad as the likes of Ishant Sharma, Lalit Yadav or Umesh Yadav in order to replace Ashwin in the playing XI. However, the team management will have to decide whether they want an extra pace option in the form of Ishant Sharma or Umesh Yadav. Lalit Yadav who has already shown his potential with the bat lower down the order in this tournament before could be given another chance and he can also bowl some off-spin if needed.

DC vs RCB IPL 2021 Today Match

The Delhi Capitals could also try the option of the including one of Chris Woakes or Anrich Nortje in their line-up and drop either of Steve Smith or Shimron Hetmyer to improve the balance of the side.
