Pakistan vs England final: After all the excitement and rain threat, Pakistan and England clashed in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Chasing the target although England lost Alex Hales (1) and Phil Slat (10) early skipper Jos Buttler (26) continued his carnage and kept tonking pacers all over the park. But Haris Rauf came back strongly to remove the skipper and left the opposition tumbling at 45/3. But after that Harry Brook (20) and Ben Stokes (51*) stitched crucial 39-run partnership for the side before Moeen Ali (19) played a staggering cameo to win the second T20 World Cup for England.

English all-rounder Sam Curran was awarded Player of the Match in the final between Pakistan and England. The southpaw played an exceptional role with the ball and helped his side restrict opposition to the total of just 138 runs. Curran returned with the figures of 4/12. He also won the Player of the Tournament.
