Indian batsman Hanuma Vihari has stated that he will bat at any position and is ready to bat in the middle-order as well as an opener if the captain asks. He also revealed the tips received from VVS Laxman for preparing for the Australia tour.

The young right-hand batsman was speaking with an Engish newspaper when he opened up about his preparations for the Australia series.
He said that Australians have a great bowling attack and his captain, Virat Kohli, and other seniors have helped him in England. He noted that he is taking everything he learnt to Australia.
He made it clear that he will play in Australia the way he played in England. He explained that he is ready to bat at any position and if his captain asks him to open, he will and if he asks him to bat in the middle or lower order, he is ready for that as well.
The Indian cricketer noted that he scored a fifty in England and if given a chance he would like to convert it into a century in Australia.

Australia Tests a big series for me: Vihari
Vihari observed that it is going to be a big series for him and he has worked hard for this. He thanked his captain for showing faith in him.
While recalling his debut Test in England he said that getting a fifty overseas and that too on his maiden international tour was a big thing for him and he will try to continue this kind of performance in Australia.

Vihari revealed that after the England series, VVS Laxman called him and asked him to prepare for the Australia series and asked him to prepare according to the conditions.
He also noted that when he was playing the last Ranji Trophy season, VVS sir came to watch a couple of matches and spoke to everyone. Vihari claimed that VVS is a great human being and one of the greats in the cricketing world and it was nice to have him around.
