We are working on our plans: Kohli

The Indian skipper stated that Williamson is one of the best players in the world and when he is on song, he is the most attractive to watch.

The Indian cricketer explained that New Zealand’s batting usually revolves around Kane and Ross, and the other guys bat around them. Kohli said they are aware of that and they are working on their plans.

Kohli hints towards a high scoring series

The Indian captain noted that New Zealand always have fields that make the game high-scoring. He mentioned that the key is not to panic too much in the field when you see 300 being posted
regularly. You just have to back yourself to get those runs, and set a big
target when you’re batting first.

Looking forward to do what we did in Australia: Kohli

India fared poorly in thier last ODI series in New Zealand but Kohli is optimistic about the current series. He explained that the last time they played here, they probably didn’t have that kind of
composure, to be relaxed in the field in terms of chasing close to 300.

He noted that they take that as a challenge and they are looking forward to doing what they did in Australia – believing in their abilities and giving in a balanced performance every time they step on the field.
