The latest tweet by the Indian ace off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on David Warner for the ban of the Chinese app in tik tok didn’t go well with one of the consumers of Twitter. The Australian southpaw and the one time IPL winning captain in David Warner has become a popular figure for his tik tok videos. His does his tik tok videos on popular telugu songs so that he can relate with fans from his franchise Sun Risers from Hyderabad.

Ashwin’s tweet has been mistaken!

The latest news that went viral was the ban on chinese apps by the Indian government. One of the most popular apps among those was the tik tok. During the lockdown, the champion opener in David Warner picked up a new hobby on doing tik tok videos for popular Tollywood songs which was entertaining for the fans and the pocket dynamite even challenged Virat Kohli to try his hand in tik tok.

Since the app has been banned in India, the wily off spinner Ravi Ashwin tweeted cheekily in tamil that reads, “Appo Anwar?,”. This is a dialogue from popular tamil film Baasha.

On seeing this tweet, one of the fans replied with a mean comment saying that Ashwin wasn’t raised properly. The veteran off spinner was quick to clarify the meaning of his tweet. Here’s what Ravi Ashwin said,

It’s a light-hearted banter in Tamil. Can be so easily missed due to context and language barrier. I appreciate you being a @davidwarner31 fan, my respect for him is still intact

Players eager to get on to the field
