Who won today’s IPL match?: The 32nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 took place between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. It was a one-sided game that saw the Rishabh Pant-led side outplaying the Mayank Agarwal-led side in all there departments of the game. They thumped the Punjab-based franchise by 9 wickets to register their third win of the season.
Asked to bat first, PBKS went off the flyer with over 30 runs in the 3 runs. However, wicket of Shikhar Dhawan (9) triggered the batting collapse as the Mayank Agarwal-led side were bundled out for just 115 runs. Jitesh Sharma top-scored with the bat with 32 runs whereas every other batsmen failed to cross the 25-run mark. For DC, apart from Shardul Thakur, every bowler chipped in with crucial wickets with Axar Patel being the standout bowler with figure of 2/10.

Chasing the target, DC openers Prithvi Shaw and David Warner made mockery of PBKS bowlers and scored 81 runs inside the ,mandatory 6-over power play, which was also the highest of this season so far. Rahul Chahar provided the breakthrough for his team by removing Shaw for 41. But it was too late as Australian opener, who scored his third half-century, and Sarfaraz Khan took them home with 57 balls to spare.
Delhi Capitals (DC) leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav was adjudged Player of the Match in today’s encounter against Punjab Kings (PBKS). The leg-spinner bowled brilliantly and returned with the figures of 2/24 in his quota of 4 overs. His two wickets helped their side bundle out the opposition for just 115 runs. He mentioned that he’ll share this award with Axar Patel, returned with the figures of 2/10.
