Skipper Virat Kohli smashed his second century of the Test series and on account of the fifties by Cheteshwar Pujara and Junior Pandya the visitors declared their innings on 352, setting the home side a mammoth target of 529 runs to chase.

Chasing the target, English batsmen except for Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes failed to score runs and were bowled out for 317 runs and Team India made a cut to the home side’s lead in the five-match series to 2-1.
