Australia playing 11: Australia has to fight hard for a win in the first match of the series. Their skipper Pat Cummins didn’t bowl in the 2nd innings as a precautionary measure and West Indies utilized his absence to grind it out to a large extent. Australian batsmen were relentless against a toothless West Indian attack and Marnus Labuschagne in particular was operating at a different level. Australia have consolidated their position at the top of the WTC table and they wouldn’t want to take things lightly as they have 2 series against superior teams coming up.
