India tour of Australia, 2018
Australia vs India, 3rd T20I | AUS vs IND Dream11 Team
After a damp squib at the MCG, India will look to square the series when they take on Australia in the final T20I at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday.
After a lacklustre bowling effort at the Gabba, Indian bowlers stormed back with disdain at the MCG. Bowling first, Bhuvneshvar Kumar set the ball rolling sending skipper Aaron Finch for a first ball duck.
The overcast conditions had something here for the bowlers but the Aussie batsmen continued to play their shots, succumbing in the process.
Khaleel accounted for the dangerous Chris Lynn and D’Arcy Short while Krunal Pandya got his revenge on Glenn Maxwell after he had been taken to the cleaners at the Gabba.
With Australia, 6-74, Nathan Coulter Nile stroked some lusty blows, in the end, to take Australia to 7-132 before the heavens opened up in the last over.
It turned out to be the last over of the game as persistent rain meant the match was abandoned bringing an end to India’s seven consecutive T20I series wins.

Here’s how both teams might line-up for the third T20I:-
Wicket-Keeper:- Alex Carey
Batters:- Aaron Finch, D’Arcy Short, Ben McDermott, Chris Lynn
All-rounders:- Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell
Bowlers:- AJ Tye, Nathan Coulter Nile, Jason Behendroff, Adam Zampa
Wicket-Keeper:- Rishab Pant
Batters:- Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Dinesh Karthik
All-rounders:- Krunal Pandya
Bowlers:- Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, Jasprit Bumrah
Wicket-keeper- Rishab Pant has shown good form in the last few games. He is an ideal pick for your Dream11 side.
Batters- Shikhar Dhawan is the leading run-scorer in T20Is in 2018 and Rohit Sharma is coming off a really good form in white-ball cricket. Virat Kohli is due for some runs in the shortest format of the game after a rare lean patch this year and so is Aaron Finch, who averages 10 since his whirlwind 172 against Zimbabwe in July.
Dard Horses- Chris Lynn and KL Rahul have been inconsistent but on their day can tear any opposition apart. Pick them in your Grand League side.
All-rounders- Marcus Stoinis bowled a match-winning spell in the first game while Maxwell and Pandya have had their moments.
Bowlers- The combo of Bhuvi and Bumrah have been imperious in the last year or so. At the MCG, both took crucial wickets to peg Australia back while Kuldeep Yadav is still a mystery yet to be decoded by the Aussies. With Sydney known to aid the spinners, making Kuldeep as the skipper could reap you high rewards.
Aussies will miss the services of Billy Stanlake, who has been ruled out due to injury. However, in Tye, Zampa and Coulter-Nile, they have proven match-winners in the shortest format of the game.
