The 20th game of the season will see Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Delhi Capitals in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League on Sunday.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost the first five games already this season. This has been a nightmare start to the season, and much of this has been due to the impotency in the bowling department. Even though the team managed to score 205 runs in the first innings, the team were unable to defend. Fielding too looked out of order, and it is clear that the confidence of the players is really low. Captain Virat Kohli will be looking for new options to fix this problem to prevent any more embarrassment.
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals were hit with a reality check as they were outclassed by SunRisers Hyderabad. Once again, their batting flopped, and these are warning signs for the management. The relative inexperience the players have has always been their biggest issue, and even though Shikhar Dhawan was brought in, he hasn’t looked like his normal self. Hopefully, the coaches will be able to get past this roadblock or once again they are going to finish as the last placed side in the IPL this season.
