Taunton, June 12, Wednesday at 03:00 PM IST
The 17th match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between the defending champions Australia and Men in Green Pakistan at County Ground in Taunton on Wednesday.
Australia suffered 36 runs defeat at the hands of India in their previous encounter which eventually put an end to their winning streak. In three games, Kangaroos have managed two wins and one defeat.
Pakistan, on the other hand, has managed one win, one loss and one no result in three encounters. The Men in Green registered a surprise win over the favourites England to open their World Cup 2019 account while their last encounter against Sri Lanka got washed away due to rain.
Pakistan will be hoping for a full game while Australia will look to bounce back from their previous defeat.
The match will begin at 03:00 PM IST.
County Ground in Taunton is a good wicket for batting. However, the weather forecast suggests 50% chances of rain which can result in a shortened game. The dry and cloudy conditions at the start can bring in seam bowlers into action. So, expect the toss-winning side to field first.
