Muhammad Ilyas took 5-wicket haul while Khushdil Shah returned with two wickets.

Batting first UAE posted a decent 267 runs total on the scoreboard, courtesy Ashfaq Ahmed (98 of 93) and Ghulam Shabber (52 of 57). Shoriful Silam and Khaled Ahmed were the picks of bowlers for Bangladesh. Both bagged 7 wickets in total.

Coming to chase, Bangladesh fell short of 97 runs and were bowled out for 170 in 36.5 overs. Mizanur Rahman (43 of 62) was the top scorer for the side.
