Sylhet will host the second game of the Women’s Asia Cup between India women and Sri Lanka women. The game will kick off on Saturday (October 1) at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
India women, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, will be stepping into the Asia Cup after a huge success in England. Kaur, after the 2018 heartbreak in Malaysia, will be aiming to reclaim the Asian crown. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, had a poor run in their last outing n Birmingham, during the 2022 Commonwealth Games. The side also lost both, T20I and ODI series, earlier at home, against India. Chamari Athapaththu and co. will be keen to make an impact on their performance.
The sides will lock horns at 1:00 PM (IST).
