The first of the two-match T20I series at Visakhapatnam didn’t produce a slam-bang contest that is often associated with the Twenty 20 format, but it can be different ball game at Bengaluru.
The hosts would be downhearted with the manner of loss in the first game – 14 runs scored in the last over of a low-scoring affair. Taking nothing away from the touring Australian side, they were the better team in the first outing.
Despite the loss to begin the series with, India are clear favourites here. However, India’s reliable top-order to deliver and there are no qualms about it. With the ball, India did a fair job to strangulate Australia’s hitters and can be backed to repeat the feat.
