IND vs ENG Game Plan Prediction: India vs England 2nd Test is set to begin tomorrow morning at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. England took a 1-0 lead on the back of 227 runs win in the opening test and will be looking to repeat the same when both the teams will square off tomorrow. However, things are expected to change as the surface won’t be similar to the one in the previous encounter. A local pitch curator is preparing the surface for the second Test as BCCI and the players from both sides weren’t happy with the pitch in the lead match.
Apart from this, the crowd is set to return to a match for the first time in the country since the COVID-19 outbreak. TNCA has allowed spectators up to 50% of the total capacity i.e. around 14000 people are expected to cheer up their favorite side from the stands.
Moreover, it will be interesting to watch how both the teams proceed as England’s clinical display in the first Test has already set the series up differently.
Previous meeting: England won by 227 runs and skipper Joe Root was adjudged as the Man of the Match for his scintillating double hundred.

India has a long history of winning the series after losing the first encounters. In the last six years, three of the times India has managed to do so – in Sri Lanka in 2015, against Australia at home in 2017, and in the recently concluded Australia series. The same is being expected once again from the hosts who are favorites to not only winning the match but the series too.
