He has been performing remarkably well for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last two editions of the Indian Premier League having amassed a total of 884 runs in 29 matches. Devdutt Padikkal has smashed more than 1700 runs while playing in 49 T20 games at a strike-rate of nearly 140.
Karnataka’s senior batter Mayank Agarwal is coming into this tournament in a remarkable form. The right-handed batter had a fabulous performance in the last two IPL seasons where he smacked more than 800 runs at an excellent strike-rate of more than 140. In his T20 career of 159 matches, Mayank Agarwal has notched up an impressive tally of 3834 runs at a fine strike-rate of 135.38 that includes 24 fifties and 2 centuries.

For the Mumbai side, it will be really important to perform well both in the batting as well as bowling departments in all of the matches in this T20 competition as they have a really good side. The likes of Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube will be expected to play a significant role in the batting department. Prithvi Shaw has smashed a total of 1679 runs in 67 T20 games at a strike-rate of nearly 150.
For Mumbai, Shivam Dube has been really effective both with the bat and ball in the shorter format. The left-handed batter played an outstanding unbeaten knock of 64 runs against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2021 season. Shivam Dube is quite an explosive batter who has the reputation to hit big sixes as he has scored more than 900 runs at a strike-rate of 131. He can also contribute well with the ball having picked up as many as 32 wickets.
