The England team has been quite dismissive in the T20 World Cup with their performances. They have got the performances from their players in both departments, and have played out well in critical situations. But the major news is coming out of England camp, where the fast bowler Tymal Mills is out of T20 World Cup due to thigh injury. Here is the confirmation by England Cricket Board,
Tymal was the joint leading wicket taker for the England team with 7 wickets in 4 matches. He unfortunately sustained an injury during the Super 12 fixture against Sri Lanka. Another left arm pacer Reece Topley, who was already in the travelling reserves has been added to the squad.
The England team suffered a setback against Sri Lanka, where they had a bad start to their innings. But the partnership of over 100 runs between Jos Buttler (101) and Eoin Morgan (40) set up a strong total of 163 for the team.
The bowlers have been quite impressive as well for the England team for quite few years and have been able to scalp key wickets in the power play overs, and then contain opposition in the death overs. In the fixture against Sri Lanka, trio of Moeen, Rashid, and Jordan picked 2 wickets to help the team in reaching the semifinals by securing 4th win in the tournament.
