Kabul Zwanan are up against Kandahar Knights in the first fixture of the Thursday doubleheader of APL T20 at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium.
Kabul Zwanan were off to a winning start handing Paktia Panthers a 3-wicket loss (Oct 05) in their first game of the tournament. The second encounter, against Balkh Legends (Oct 06), did not go their way. However, they came back stronger with a comprehensive 7-wicket win over Nangarhar Leopards (Oct 09) in the last outing.
On the other hand, Kandahar Knights are yet to open their account in the tournament. They have gone down against Nangarhar Leopards (Oct 06) and Balkh Legends (Oct 07) in the two games involved so far. The Knights will be looking for a turnaround here to get their campaign up and running.
There is an outside chance of Zwanan replacing M Musa with N Masood.
Tymal Mills has not delivered so far and Taskin Ahmed might slot in for him.
