Table of Contents
The Spirits lost their last game by just two runs. In the last game, we saw a cracker of a contest, where the batters fell short by just two runs in the last delivery being a no-ball thriller. They will look to bounce back after closely winning and losing their last two games.
Superchargers are playing after a week, and they will be delighted to be back after the short break and get going. They failed to chase in the last game in a rain curtailed game, and they will be hoping to go out good in this one to maintain their top-order standings in this one.
Lord’s is a high-scoring ground and the pitch well suits the batters, and the last few game scores justify it. On this pitch, out of the 41 T20 domestic games played, the team batting first has won 24 times. Out of them, teams have scored 190+ for 14 times, which is terrific. In the last game as well, the Superchargers scored 195 and won the game by just two runs. Expect this game to be a belter as well.
Dan Lawrence in T20
Dan is a powerful striker and we all saw it in the last game. He could not bat till the end but kept the team in the hunt with his top striking. He has scored 141 runs in five innings at a strike rate of 183.11 in the Hundred 2023.
Matthew Wade in T20
Wade has been an exceptional player in the T20 circuit for a long time now. His stats show how fierce he can be. This should be a big game for Wade, where he will be eager to put good runs on the board.
Tom Banton in T20
Tom is a wonderful white-ball player and hits the ball cleanly. He just scored 12 in the last game, but expect him to make a fighting comeback, given his impressive track record.
Matt Short in T20
Matt’s ball-striking abilities in the last game were fabulous. He scored a quickfire 37 off just 18 to give a headstart in the powerplay.
Considering both the teams, this will be a close game, and predicting one now would be a tough call. But, expect the Superchargers to prevail in this game.
