Match 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will see two bottom-placed teams facing each other. Delhi Capitals will take on Mumbai Indians on April 11 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, hoping to register their maiden win this season.
Mumbai Indians have also struggled to find their footing in the tournament, with both their batting and bowling failing to fire. Skipper Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav’s form have been a major cause for concern, with Rohit himself admitting that the senior players need to step up.
Despite the early setbacks, Mumbai Indians will take heart from the fact that they have a strong team on paper, with the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Jofra Archer, and Tilak Varma capable of turning the game on its head.
