India vs Australia Playerzpot Prediction 2nd T20I

After a closely-fought low-scoring affair that went Aussie way, India will be keen to win the second T20I to draw the series level against Australia. Visakhapatnam T20I had too much of turbulence but in the end, Jhye Richardson and Pat Cummins managed 14 runs in the last over to snatch victory from India.

Now, India will be in an all-in situation when they face Australia in Bengaluru on Wednesday. India’s record at M Chinnaswamy stadium is not daunting, but the fact that they have won their last two of their last T20Is at the venue would certainly boost the confidence to the team.

Wins like these would lift our confidence before the World Cup: Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell hailed the bowlers for keeping Indian batsmen under a tight leash. “If you are holding MS to one boundary in the death overs, it is a good effort and we would want to carry forward the winning momentum.”

We were short by 15-20 runs: Bumrah

“Once you step in to bowl the last over in a close game, the chances are 50-50. You try your best and you are clear in your execution but on a few days it works while on other days, it doesn’t,” Jasprit Bumrah said.

WHERE: M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

WHEN: 27  February at 07:00 PM IST

  • Virat Kohli might make a change or two in the playing XI. Shikhar Dhawan who was rested for the last game might make a comeback.
  • Kane Richardson has been ruled out of India tour. Australia is most likely to field the same playing combination.

Australia Probable XI

Fantasy Picks India

  • After a dominant display of bowling Down Under, Bumrah proved his worth yet again in the first T20I as he returned 3 wickets at an economy rate of 4.00.
  • KL Rahul was the highest run scorer as he scored 50 runs in the first T20I. Virat Kohli scored 24 runs. So, you can pick skipper Virat Kohli in your fantasy team. Although vice-captain Rohit Sharma couldn’t score much in the last match, he is a match-winning player and a safe bet.

Fantasy Picks Australia

  • Glenn Maxwell scored 56 runs off 43 runs in the last match and he was the only Australian batsman to cross 50 runs in the first T20I.
  • Nathan Coulter-Nile returned figures of 3/26 in the first match. You can pick him in your fantasy team as well.
