PS vs MLR Dream11 Grand League Prediction

Big Bash League, 2018 | Perth Scorchers vs Melbourne Renegades, Match 02 | PS vs MLR Who Will Win

The Big Picture

So, it is finally here! After weeks of build up, euphoria, new signings, the Big Bash League is finally here for its eighth edition- this time bigger and better. After a pulsating tournament opener that saw the Adelaide Strikers edge out Brisbane Heat, we are all set for the second game of the season which will see Perth Scorchers lock horns with the Renegades at the Dockland Stadium in Melbourne.

Both sides will miss a plethora of their stars- some due to International commitments like Aaron Finch, Marcus Harris, Shaun Marsh- some due to injury in the form of Beu Webster while Cameron Bancroft will be unavailable due to suspension.

Nevertheless, both teams still boast of enough firepower to kickstart their campaign on a winning note. While the Scorchers will look to Michael Klinger, Ashton Turner to spearhead the batting unit, their all-rounder and bowling department looks imperious with the likes of Willey, Agar, Coulter-Nile, Tye in their line-up.

The Renegades, too, have the likes of Cooper, White, Nabi and Usman Qadir who on their day can define the narrative of the match.

PS vs MLR Dream11 Grand League Team

Team 01

Backing the underdog

Perth Scorchers have had a lid over the Renegades since the inception of the BBL. They are yet to lose a game to the Melbourne based franchise, having won each of their last eight encounters. But T20 is a funny game; it can come to bite you when you least expect it.

Fantasy Tip:- Back the Renegades to pull off an upset.

Team 02

Picking more batsmen

The Dockland Stadium has generally dished out flat tracks in the past. With the Big Bash generally dishing out flat decks, expect the batsmen to rule the roost.

Fantasy Tip:- Pick more batters

Team 03

All-rounders galore

T20 is basically a game where a player who can contribute with both bat and ball is priceless. Both Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Renegades boast of game-changing all-rounders in Nabi, Christian, Marsh, David Willey and Ashton Agar. Making an all-rounder a captain/vice-captain of your Grand League team can reap you huge rewards.

Team 04

Back the spinners to rule the roost

Spinners play a huge part in the middle overs. The likes of Usman Qadir, Mohammad Nabi and right-arm leg-spinner Cameron Boyce could help you win valuable points in your Grand League team.

This PS vs MLR Dream11 prediction is high-risk but you may reap rewards if some assumptions come off. We advise you not to use these teams in small league contests.
