RR vs CSK Dream11 Prediction: MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings after beating Mumbai Indians, the team that bested them in last IPL final, is set to face Steve Smith’s Rajasthan Royals, the team that bested them in the inaugural edition of IPL, in Sharjah today. CSK and RR are completely different when it comes to team combination as CSK puts a lot of faith in their oldies while Rajasthan has been the team that gives young players a lot of opportunities. Dhoni after upstaging Rohit Sharma in the first match will be fencing his team’ chances against Rajasthan as they have a couple of very big names missing from action.

RR vs CSK Dream11 Today Match Details

Indian Premier League Season 13

Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings
Date – Tuesday, 22nd September 2020
Time: 7:30 PM (IST); 6:00 PM (Local Time)
Venue – Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah

Pitch Report: Since 2018, chasing team has won 26 T20s out of the 46 with 161 being the average score. Fast bowlers have fared well here taking 64% of the wicket. Sharjah also has the smallest boundaries out of the three venues and the big hitters will fancy their chances of clearing it even with miss-hits.

Team News: RAJ Rajasthan Royals are missing two of their biggest names in Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler. Stokes is still in New Zealand with his family while Buttler is undergoing an extended quarantine.

Team News: CHE Chennai coach Stephen Fleming has revealed that Dwayne Bravo has still not fully recovered from his injury and will miss this match too.

RR vs CSK Dream11 Today Match Prediction

Separating two teams in IPL is always difficult as all the teams are so close to each other but this is not the case in today’s RR vs CSK Dream11 Prediction match. As CSK are favourites to win tonight’s match because of the form they showed in the first match and what Rajasthan are going through. Since CSK’s return in IPL in 2018 they have won 3 out of the 4 matches against Rajasthan. Also, Rajasthan are missing the firepower with the bat which might prove fatal against a strong and an experienced side in CSK.

RR vs CSK Dream11 Grand League Fantasy Cricket Tips

Captain Choices

Shane Watson: The burly opener failed in the first match but he won’t be too upset as it was a perfect ball from Trent Boult that got him. Watson made his name playing for RR under Shane Watson and he is a dangerous man at the top of the order. When he scores, he scores big and will be itching to have a go against his first IPL team.

Ambati Rayudu: He may not come across as one of the superstars of the game but boy he is effective and determined. It was his innings of 71 that won CSK the opener and the thing with Rayudu is that he is desperate to show to the entire world that he deserves more than he gets, which makes him a threat for the opposition.

Vice-Captain Choices:

Steve Smith: The Australian superstar missed the entire England ODI series because of concussion aftereffects but is set to play in this match. Smith would know that in the absence of Buttler and Stokes the onus is on him to play a big knock. He may not have the big shots but he makes it up with his weirdness. He can make a telling difference in Today Match Prediction games.

Piyush Chawla: Chawla with 151 wickets in 158 matches is one of the legends of IPL and he showed his metal in the last match when he bowled a brilliant spell of 1/21. Expect Chawla to come good in this match too.

X-Factors:

Jofra Archer: The English speedster is having a dream run since he burst onto the scene and a lot is expected from him. He hardly gives any runs with the new ball and has an economy of 6.19 in powerplay since 2018. He is one man who can run through a batting order.

Sam Curran: Curran was one of the stars in CSK’s win over MI. He was good with both ball (1/28) and bat (6-ball 18) and expect him to continue his good form. He has a strong mind and loved performing under pressure. And going by what happened in the first match Curran may get more opportunities to bat, maybe more than even Jadeja!

RR vs CSK Dream11 Wicket-Keeper Pick

Sanju Samson: With Jos Buttler out of the contest and MS Dhoni hell-bent on giving everyone an opportunity to bat before him we would think it’s best to go with Samson as your wicket-keeper. He was RR’s second-highest run-scorer last season with 342 runs at a brilliant strike-rate of 148.

Dream11 MPL Most Affordable Players

Riyan Parag (Credit: 8) – Parag scored 160 runs last season with a strike-rate of 126 and was impressive every time he came out to bat. Rajasthan gives their youngsters a lot of chance and expects him to play a fair share of deliveries.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (Credit: 8) – He was the story of India’s U-19 World Cup and a lot of fans and pundits are expecting him to come good in IPL. He will open today and can make a mark early in the game.
