Sri Lanka, failing to make a contest of any of the five One Day Internationals, would come out looking for redemption in the Twenty 20 Internationals. T20I is a different proposition and that what gives cricket enthusiasts some hope that the islanders may do better in the shorter format. However, much of their chances rely on the Kusal Mendis and Thisara Perera who can use their ability and experience to take on the hosts.

The strong Protea line-up against a down-and-out Sri Lankan doesn’t leave in much to ponder, unless of course the latter produce something special to make a game out of it.
