The first day of the competition saw two games taking place between India and Kuwait U19 which was followed by Afghanistan and Pakistan Under 19. The second day of the U-19 Asia will also see two matches to be played between the hosts Sri Lanka and Nepal Under 19 followed by a clash between Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates Under 19.
Sri Lanka U19 who also are the hosts of this tournament will be playing their first game here and will be looking to get off to a winning start.
Nepal Under 19 last played the Asia U19 World Cup Qualifier where they finished second just behind the UAE under 19 and were eluded off the trophy. They would be eyeing to put up a good show in this competition and defeating a formidable opponent as Sri Lanka U19 will definitely boost their confidence and momentum going ahead in the competition.
