Southern Brave were the runners-up last year, while losing to the Oval Invincibles. The team finished second in the league stage just below the Oval team because of a slight difference in run rate. The Anya Shrubsole-led side met their opponents last in the eliminator game in the previous edition, where they clinched the victory. Southern Brave have a talented squad and have performed well in the past two seasons. Like the last edition, they are expected to have a deep run in the tournament.

Anya Shrubsole Stats in T20I
Anya is one of the leading wicket-taking bowlers from England, and is also the captain of the Southern Brave team. For her, the last season from a bowling point of view did not go well and she couldn’t pick many wickets. But, she is an economical bowler and can drive through the team with her experience and skillset.
