MS Dhoni CSK Captain: In a massive breaking news, Ravindra Jadeja has handed over the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captaincy duties back to MS Dhoni for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season. Earlier ahead of the tournament, MS Dhoni handed over the captaincy responsibilities to Jadeja and the veteran wicket-keeper batsman was playing so far for the first time as a pure player in the IPL. However, things did not work out really well for the Chennai Super Kings this year.

IPL 2022: MS Dhoni CSK CAPTAIN as Ravindra Jadeja steps down? Here’s the official update

In the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League, defending champions Chennai Super Kings have managed to win just two out of their eight matches so far. CSK are currently slotted at the 9th position on the points table. However one of the major reasons for stepping down as the captain can be Ravindra Jadeja’s individual form in the tournament.

In 8 matches of IPL 2022 so far, Ravindra Jadeja has scored as many as 112 runs at a strike-rate of 121.74. With the ball, the left-arm spinner has picked up only 5 wickets at an economy of 8.19.
