Who won today’s IPL match?: Table toppers Gujarat Titans (GT) locked horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium. It was game that yet again saw the Hardik Pandya-led side coming back into the game after being bogged down. Rahul Tewaita and David Miller once again stood tall for their side to bag eighth win for their side.

Batting first RCB lost skipper Faf du Plessis early but Virat Kohli (58) stood tall for his side with a half-century. He along with Rajat Patidar (52) contributed for for side and a vital contributions in the end by Glenn Maxwell (33) and Mahipal Lomror (16) helped RCB post a total of 170 runs on the board. For GT, Pradeep Sangwan was the pick of the bowlers and returned with the figures of 2/19.

Chasing the target, GT went off the flyer as Wriddhiman Saha (29) and Shubman Gill (31) scored 51 runs for the opening partnership. But soon after that they went back in the hut to leave their side tumbling at 68/2. Skipper Pandya (3) also perished early and at the the end of 13th over GT were reduced to 95/5. David Miller (39*) and Rahul Tewatia (43*) yet again joined hands for their side and made sure that they continue their good form. They stitched 79 runs partnership and chased the target with 3 balls to spare.

Gujarat Titans (GT) all-rounder Rahul Tewatia was awarded Player of Match in today’s encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Batting at No.6, the southpaw played one of the his finest knocks. He scored unbeaten 42 runs to take his home when it seemed that they would lose the match. He stitched run partnership with David Miller, scored 39 runs as GT completed a 4-wicket win.
