MI Playing 11: The 5 time champions Mumbai Indians become the first team to take the exit route in Tata IPL 2020. 7 losses from 7 matches has been the story for Rohit Sharma & Co this year and it looks like they will remain robust at the bottom spot throughout the season.
The bottom-placed Mumbai Indians will now faceLucknow Super Giants in match no 37 of Tata IPL 2022 at their home ground, i.e., Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Wankhede has been a fortress for Mumbai Indians over the years and they would love to secure at least a win at their fortress to put a smile on the faces of their home crowd.

Mumbai Indians need to make some tough calls. Rohit Sharma has been a complete failure with the bat this season. Not only this, but MI’s skipper has been out of sorts with the bat in the last 3 seasons. The same goes for Kieron Pollard who recently announced his retirement from international cricket, and this year he has been completely out of nick for MI.
Jasprit Bumrah is struggling to get wickets. Jasprit Bumrah seems to have lost the ability to take wickets. The Indian pacer was exceptional in the last two seasons in the UAE, but he has surely lost the art of picking wickets this season. The MI team management and the think tank have a lot to ponder and it would be interesting to see what combination they would opt for in this game.

Changes aplenty are expected for Mumbai Indians. Jaydev Unadkat is expected to sit out after he went through an onslaught from MSD in the last over against CSK. Kieron Pollard has been given chance after chance after chance. We know he is a marquee player for MI, but no player is bigger than the team. Tim David might replace him in the eleven. Arjun Tendulkar or Basil Thampi for Unadkat and Tim David for Kieron Pollard are the changes expected in MI Playing 11..
