Most sixes in IPL 2022: Orange Cap Holder Jos Buttler leads the chart. Check complete list

This season of IPL will see some records getting destroyed when it comes to the number of sixes being hit in the previous years. As the tournament is conducted in and around Mumbai where the boundaries are short and the wicket is flat, the stroke makers are enjoying themselves in the six hitting festival.

Most sixes in IPL 2022: Jos Buttler miles ahead

Jos Buttler is batting like a freak at the moment. He is demolishing the opposition bowlers for fun. He is not getting trapped either, reads the plan from the opposition, neutralizes it and takes on the weaker bowlers and makes sure that bad balls from good bowlers are not going unpunished. It has been a breathtaking season for one of the modern day white ball legends in Jos Buttler. He has hit 32 sixes so far in the competition, 10 more than the 2nd best in the list.

Most Sixes in IPL

The Caribbean all rounder Andre Russell is known for hitting sixes. He has hit 22 sixes in this season, what makes this even more scarier is the number of balls he has faced which is just 129.

IPL Team Owners

Punjab Kings invested heavily on Liam Livingstone purely because of his ability to hit sixes at will at any stage of the game. It is fair to say that the Englishman hasn’t disappointed them even one bit. He has smacked 20 sixes in just 147 balls he has faced in this season so far. Though he is batting at a position which may not be an ideal one for him, he has been pretty impressive so far.
