Bravo rose into the limelight when claimed 6-11 against the Windward Islands in 2003. A year later he took a staggering 16 wickets in his debut Test series against England.

#1 Bravo is one of the few select cricketers to win two World T20s (2012 and 2016) and two IPL trophies (2011 and 2018)
#2 In 2015, Bravo was awarded the Hummingbird Medal, the 3rd highest award in Trinidad and Tobago.
During the 2005 tour of South Africa, Dwayne Bravo accused Graeme Smith of directing a racial slur. The charges were probed but in case of no evidence, Smith was acquitted. He demanded an apology from the West Indian which he refused.
Due to a long-standing tussle between WICB and the players association, West Indian side, led by Bravo, left the 2014 India tour midway. He was subsequently dropped from the 2015 World Cup squad.
