T20 Tri-Series in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe vs Pakistan

Zimbabwe would be welcoming Pakistan and Australia for a triangular series which will be commencing from 1st July. The first match of the series will see the home side Zimbabwe squaring off against the number one T20 side in the world Pakistan.

Pakistan has been on a roll in the shortest format of the game, starting from last October they defeated Sri-Lanka 3-0 then they went on to defeat New Zealand away from home 2-1 their next opponents were the Windies whom they whitewashed 3-0 and their last victims were the Scottish side who went down 2-0. In total, they have just lost a single game to New Zealand by 7 wickets and have won 10 matches since October this stat surely makes them a strong contender to win the tri-series.

Zimbabwe on the other side lost 2-0 to Afghanistan in February 2018 which was their last appearance in the shortest form of the game. The team and the board had some disputes regarding the non-payment of salaries which meant that Brendan Taylor, regular skipper Graeme Cremer, Sean Ervine and Sikandar Raza who made his way to the global T20 Canada league, would be missing from the side which will be led by Hamilton Masakadza.

According to the predictions made by bet365, the odds in favour of Zimbabwe are 5/1 which means a return of 600 Rs over a stake of 100 whereas, Pakistan prediction is 1/9, meaning a return of 111.11 Rs over a stake of 100.

OUR PREDICTION: As per the betting odds, we back Pakistan to win ZIM vs PAK

The third and the last T20 of the ongoing 3 match series between Ireland Women and Bangladesh Women is scheduled to take place at the Pembroke Cricket Club in Dublin.

With the series already in the pocket of the Bangladeshi women, this would be a great chance for them to register their first ever whitewash in T20 cricket. They were elusive in the last two games and their current form suggests that they have a fair chance of completing a whitewash.

With three blundering on the trot in the shortest format fo the game(1 against New Zealand women and 2 against Bangladesh women), this unit is really struggling with form and they have to come up with something brilliant on the field.

According to the predictions made by bet365, the odds in favour of Ireland Women are 11/5 which means a return of 320 Rs over a stake of 100 whereas, Bangladesh Women prediction is 4/11, meaning a return of 136.36 Rs over a stake of 100.

OUR PREDICTION: As per the betting odds, we back Bangladesh Women to win IR-W vs BD-W

Women T20 Tri-Series in England

England Women vs New Zealand Women

This was one of the best T20 series for the women’s cricket of late. South Africa women who could not make it to the finals is the only side to defeat the English lass in this series whereas the finalists New Zealand women are yet to defeat the home side and have been dismantled everytime they have been up against the home side.

The pre-final clash between the two sides was a one-sided affair where the White ferns easily went down by 7 wickets. After winning the toss, White Ferns skipper Suzie Bates opted to bat first but didn’t get the start she wanted as she was dismissed for a duck on the 5th ball of the match.

Opener Sophie Devine scored a fighting fifty and Amy Satterthwaite aided her well with 37 runs to her name which helped the visitors to post a respectable total of 129. None of the batswomen was able to cross the 10 mark apart from Sophie Devine, Amy Satterthwaite and Jess Watkin, and in total four scores of ducks were scored. Fast bowler Anya Shrubsole was the pick of the bowlers as she scalped 3 wickets for 16 runs with some assistance from Danielle Hazell who chipped in with 2 wickets.

The target was never that tough to chase for the home side who were in an exemplary form and Sarah Taylor who was due for some runs in the series made sure it was a facile chase with a half-century(51) while Natalie Sciver and skipper Heather Knight remained unbeaten for 39 and 24 runs respectively to finish off the game.

According to the predictions made by bet365, the odds in favour of England Women are 8/15 which means a return of 153.33 Rs over a stake of 100 whereas, New Zealand Women prediction is 6/4, meaning a return of 250 Rs over a stake of 100.

OUR PREDICTION: As per the betting odds, we back England Women to win EN-W vs NZ-W
