Bengaluru Fc vs FC Pune City
Indian Super League
BFC vs FCPC MATCH PREVIEW:
The first leg between table toppers Bengaluru FC and Pune City ended in a stalemate at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, and now we are heading to Bengaluru for the second leg with the host team Bengaluru FC set to start the match as hot-favorites as the game will be played at their own den Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
Bengaluru must be the happier team of the two after the 0-0 draw in the first leg considering Pune dominated the proceedings in that game. But the home team should be confident enough to finish the job at their home as they possess two of the most potent stars in Miku (14 Goals) and Indian Captain Sunil Chhetri (10 Goals) in their ranks.
While for Pune all is not doom and gloom and they have two big advantage heading into this game- First, they will be the away team and if they manage a goal in this match, Bengaluru will have to score twice to win the match. And second, their chief coach Ranko Popovic will be in the dugout after serving his one match ban, giving his team a mental and an emotional lift.
But Pune may find it hard to pierce a defense which has been the best in ISL 2018 and with India’s best goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu standing tall between the sticks, the visitors know they have a big fight to reach the final.
