ARS vs FRK Dream11: Arsenal look to snap its six-game winless run in all competitions as Eintracht Frankfurt visit London for a round-five Group F match UEFA Europa League match at the Emirates Stadium. Unai Emery will look at the game as a perfect opportunity to ease some pressure off his shoulder following a poor run of form.
If rumours are to be believed, Emery is being monitored game-by-game, and if the performance doesn’t improve immediately, he could get the sack. Indeed, it’s not just the results on the pitch which have brought eh club under a bad light in recent weeks, but off-field issues such as Granit Xhaka’s removal from captaincy, handling of Mesut Ozil, and the alleged player’s unhappiness, have all come down to haunt Emery in recent weeks.
In terms of Europa League, Arsenal sits comfortably at the top, having won three times in the first four matches. They should find no problem whatsoever in finishing the group stage as winners.
Eintracht Frankfurt, meanwhile, are coming into this game looking to snap its three-game losing run, with their last win coming against Bayern Munich – a 5-1 thumping in Bundesliga, which ultimately cost Niko Kovac his job.
As things stand, they are 3rd in Group F, level on points with 2nd placed Standard Liege going into this game.
