Bayern Munich team news: Head coach Hansi Flick confirmed that Corentin Tolisso will miss the clash against Tottenham Hotspur with an injury. The 25-year-old midfielder picked up a knock at the weekend and was subbed off in the 2-1 defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach at the weekend. But centre-back Jerome Boateng is fit and will be in contention for the game.
Other than Tolisso, the Munchen are pretty much unaffected by fresh injury concerns if you consider out the long-term injury absentees Lucas Hernandez, Niklas Sule, Jann-Fiete Arp and Michael Cuisance.
How Bayern Munich nay line-up?
Despite this game being a dead-rubber, expect strong line-ups from both the teams, though, few changes could be made here.
Sven Ulreich may get a rare start in goal, with Alphonso Davies and Benjamin Pavard flanking the wing-back positions, while David Alaba should have Jerome Boateng beside him. Though, if Javi Martinez is likely to start at the back if Boateng is not 100%.
Muller will play in the no-10 role, with Kimmich and Goretzka behind him in the heart of the midfield, though, Coutinho could get the nod ahead of Muller. Robert Lewandowski will lead the attack, while Gnabry and Perisic will provide the width.
Bayern Munich key players:
Robert Lewandowski: 10 goals
Serge Gnabry: 04 goals (Interestingly, all his four goals came against Spurs)
Tottenham Hotspur team news: Jose Mourinho has a lengthy injury list these days and remains without at least half-a-dozen first-team players. Hugo Lloris, Erik Lamela, Michel Vorm, Ben Davies, Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Winks all out injured.
Jose Mourinho indicated that he will be making changes to his usual playing 11. Super striker Harry Kane remained in London and won't be available, while Jan Vertonghen, Dele Alli and Serge Aurier have also not travelled with the squad.
Tottenham Hotspur key players:
Giovani Le Celso
Bayern Munich: Manuel Neuer / Ulreich (GK), Alphonso Davies, David Alaba, Jerome Boateng, Benjamin Pavard, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Philipp Coutinho, Thomas Muller, Serge Gnabry, Robert Lewandowski
Tottenham Hotspur: Paulo Gazzaniga (GK), Kyle Walker-Peters, Juan Foyth, Davinson Sanchez, Danny Rose, Oliver Skipp, Eric Dier, Lucas Moura, Giovani Le Celso, Ryan Sessegnon, Troy Parrott
Defenders: Alaba, Davies, D Sanchez
Midfielders: Goretzka, Perisic, Gnabry (VC), G L Celso, O Skipp
Attackers: Moura, Lewandowski (C)
Considering Tottenham are shorthanded, with a host of stars getting rest, Bayern will have too much in the tank here.
