The reigning European Champions are the only team in the Premier League this season with a 100% winning record, and no doubt will want nothing else than a win from this game as he looks to keep Manchester City at bay in this early stage of the season.

Burnley, meanwhile, lost earned a well-deserved point from the trip to Wolverhampton as they played out a 1-1 draw at Molineaux Stadium.

  • Sean Dyche was quite optimistic about Johann Berg Gudmundsson‘s injury issue, which at first looked serious enough to keep the player out for a significant period. But Dyche said that he expects the 28-year-old Icelandic to return from the injury after the international break. So he is out of this game.
  • Robbie Brady has made progress in his recovery from a rib injury, but remains out at this moment, along with Steven Defour.

  • Aaron Lennon is the likeliest player to replace Johann Berg Gudmundsson in the playing 11.

  • Jurgen Klopp revealed that Naby Keita is nearing a return but is most likely to come into the playing 11 only after the international break.
