BUR vs MUN Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Manchester United will be aiming to extend their impressive run of form under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær when they host Burnley at Old Trafford, in the Premier League, on Tuesday night (IST).
To start, Ole Gunnar Solskjær managed in the Premier League before. But the journey turned sour and he had to step down after less than nine months in charge of Cardiff City. With no disrespect to the Bluebirds, Manchester United were always a huge step up for the Norwegian manager. And that’s why United’s current relentless form is something which was not even possible in the wildest dreams of United fans or even in Solskjær’s imaginations.
But the fact of the matter is the sun is shining brightly over Old Trafford these days and the gloom and the dark cloud of Jose Mourinho’s doomed era already look a thing of a haunting past.
Since Mourinho was shown the exit door, the Red Devils have won eight consecutive games. It’s a streak which no manager has ever managed to achieve in his first eight games while at the hot-seat of Old Trafford. No wonder, the noise of “Give Solskjær full contract” is getting louder with each win.
The last result brought a FA Cup fourth round success against one of their main rivals Arsenal. The Red Devils won 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium with the former Gunner Alexis Sanchez scoring the first goal.
If United win their home clash against Burnley, they will be moving into the top-five for the first time this season.
To be fair, Sean Dyche would always prefer Premier League status for his team over any FA Cup success against big Premier League teams. That’s why the 5-0 mauling at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City shouldn’t be taken as too seriously in terms of achieving their most favoured target.
The last season brought too much success for the Clarets. Too much because a team exceeding expectations by big margins is not an ordinary event. But Burnley did as they finished seventh in the 2017-18 Premier League season, making the mockery out of every prediction which made them one of the favourites for the relegation. Though this achievement was nowhere near the level of Leicester City’s 2016 title-winning triumph, still it was commendable.
And you look at the current state that Burnley are in or were in a few months ago, you think even higher of their achievement of last season which fetched them a Europa League campaign. The European adventure is the reason for their bad start to this campaign as injuries and fatigue took the toll over the squad.
However, the Clarets have turned the corner around in the recent weeks. The one time occupant of relegation zone are now setting their strides towards the safety. As things stand, Dyche’s team is at 16th with 22 points from 23 games.

BUR vs MUN Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Manchester United can do the league double over Burnley having recorded a 2-0 win over them earlier in the season. But the Clarets forced a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last season. Achieving that sort of results would be huge for the visiting team in the current context.
