CHE vs BOU Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Chelsea will be locking horns against Bournemouth for a place in the semifinals of Football League Cup as they welcome fellow Premier League rivals to the Stamford Bridge, in London, on Wednesday night (IST).

Chelsea:
Maurizio Sarri has a golden opportunity to start his Stamford Bridge reign in the best possible way. Because his team is just four matches away from winning the Football League. This is the same trophy which gave Jose Mourinho his first silverware in England. And we all know what happened next.

Same can happen for Sarri. Chelsea’s team knows all about winning trophies, having won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup in the last decade or so with the latest coming just two seasons ago when Blues marched towards their fifth Premier League title.

Chelsea were going neck and neck with both Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League glory. But their unbeaten start was snapped by Tottenham Hotspur who handed them a 3-1 mauling at the Wembley Stadium. The 2-1 loss at the Molineux all but ended Chelsea’s League hopes. And now the team find itself in the midst of top-4 places.

Now Blues are back to winning ways, and Eden Hazard has fired warning that his team is back to very best.

Also, manager Sarri has tempted against selecting too many youngsters for the League Cup this season indicating that the former Napoli boss is taking this tournament very very seriously.

Bournemouth:
Bournemouth have hit the wall of late, and are now showing too many chinks in their armour, which have been gaped wide open even by the so-called out-of-form teams.

The Cherries are on two games losing streak heading into this match. The streak looks even more daunting for the club if we consider the last seven games. In the period, Bournemouth have lost a mammoth six times, winning just once, a 2-1 win over struggling Huddersfield.

But the point to be taken here is that the Cherries four of those losses have come against two Manchester clubs and one each against Liverpool and Arsenal. So the streak may not be a true indicator of their potential.

However, for the first time this season, Bournemouth find themselves out of the top half of the table.

CHE vs BOU Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Chelsea vs Bournemouth Team News:

Chelsea:
Injured – There is no player listed as out just yet by Chelsea Football Club at the moment. However, few players are carrying knocks and will be assessed ahead of the match.
Suspended – None
Questionable – Alvaro Morata hasn’t featured in the last two games for Chelsea and remains a huge doubt for this match as well, while Victor Moses is carrying a knock and is expected to go through a late fitness test.

Note: Sarri may be tempted to risk Eden Hazard who got a knock against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
Olivier Giroud should lead the attack for Chelsea while only one of Pedro or Willian is expected to start on the wing.
Also, fringe players like Emerson Palmieri, Cesc Fabregas, Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi all are expected to be given starts in the match.
Key Players – Fabregas, Giroud

Bournemouth:
Injured – Bournemouth will be without Lewis Cook, Dan Gosling and Adam Smith due to knee injuries.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – While Tyrone Mings and Simon Francis suffered knocks before the last match and are expected to miss the match.

Note: Young prodigy Jack Simpson may be given a start if either Mings or Francis are not available for the match.
Lys Mousset, Marc Pugh and Diego Rico all remain in contention to start the match.
Also, super striker Callum Wilson may not be risked at all in the match considering Bournemouth need him more during the festive period.
Key Players – Lerma, King

CHE vs BOU Dream11 Playing 11 – (Probable) –
Chelsea– Caballero (GK), Zappacosta, Christensen, Cahill, Palmieri, Loftus-Cheek, Fabregas, Barkley, Willian, Giroud, Pedro
Bournemouth– Boruc (GK), Simpson, S.Cook, Ake, Rico; Brooks, Surman, Lerma, Pugh, King, Mousset

CHE vs BOU Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

Team 1:
Ross Barkley has done enough to start every game for Chelsea but that’s not the case. You can expect the former Everton star to be first on the name-sheet for this match. Same can be said about Ruben Loftus-Cheek. While Fabregas’ time at Chelsea may be numbered but he should be starting the match.
As for Bournemouth, they should fancy their chances because it’s just a one game and the cup ties offer more chances for shocks than the Premier League.

Team 2:
We have Wilson here. The red-hot in-form striker is reportedly on Chelsea’s radar. He has only returned from the injury and may not be involved. But Eddie Howe won’t want to scupper a good opportunity to stun a giant. Giroud will be starting alongside him at the front.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Chelsea have an outstanding record against Bournemouth in all competitions. Both the clubs have faced each other 13 times so far, with Chelsea winning a staggering 10 times, while Bournemouth have registered only three wins against the Blues.
Also, considering the fact that this is a match at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are huge favourites for the match.
Blues to win.
