EMN vs PSV Dream11: PSV Eindhoven hit the road this weekend as they take on EC Emmen in the Dutch Eredivisie at JenS Vesting (De Oude Meerdijk), in Emmen, Netherlands. PSV have had a poor domestic campaign so far in every sense, as they find themselves 11 points adrift of leaders and defending champions Ajax.
FC Emmen: This is Emmens’ second season in Eredivisie, so their current 14th position on the table is not out of order. They finished 14th on the points table last season and will be looking to emulate the same return they racked up in 2018-19 season. The target remains the same for them as it was last year, and that is to avoid the drop. So far, the only point is keeping them away from the bottom three, so they are in danger and needs to rack up to have come comfort on the table.
PSV Eindhoven: The 24-time Dutch champions are stuttering in the league, so much so that, the gap between them and their eternal rivals Ajax is potentially unbridgeable 13 points. It’s fair to say, and even considering a rough patch here and there for Erik ten Hag’s team till the end of the season, that the title may be gone, and done and dusted.
But not the season. It;’s very much alive and offers a lot to all the teams. PSV are 3rd on the points table and must finish 2nd to get to the UEFA Champions League next season. It’s a big prize.
