Uruguay continued their fine form in 2019 with a 4-0 convincing win over Ecuador.

Uruguay Team News:
The 16-time Continental winners may have won 4-0 in the last game, but the win came at a huge price as key midfielder Matias Vecino picked up a thigh injury which will rule him out of the rest of Copa America.
As a result, Oscar Tabarez will be making at least one change for the next game. Lucas Torreira and Federico Valverde are in contention to replace the Inter Milan man, with the former likely to be given the nod against Japan.
Tabarez is not known for tweaking his winning combination and considering Uruguay looked almost complete in their opening game, a change is not expected, except the forced one.
A 4-4-2 formation is the likely tactics, with Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez playing up front.
Here is Uruguay’s squad for the world cup:
Goalkeepers: Fernando Muslera, Martin Silva, Martin Campana
Defenders: Diego Godin, Jose Maria Gimenez, Sebastian Coates, Martin Caceres, Marcelo Sarrachi
Midfielders: Giovanni Gonzalez, Diego Laxalt, Lucas Torreira, Matias Vecino, Rodrigo Bentancur, Nahitan Nandez, Federico Valverde, Nicolas Lodeiro, Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Gaston Pereiro
